Who I am
This site is run by Patrick Tarpey, trading as Magnitude, 91 Clark Road, Wolverhampton, WV3 9PA. I'm responsible for the personal details you give me here.
Email: [email protected] Phone: 01902 928327
What I collect
When you fill in a form on this site I collect:
your name and email address
your mobile number, if you give it
your answers to the questions on the form
whether you ticked the box to get my weekly email
If you book and pay for a session, I also keep a record of the booking and the payment. I don't see or store your card details. The payment provider handles those.
Why I collect it
To run the waiting list for Find the Block, tell you if you've got a place, and send you the link to book and pay. The legal basis is that you asked to be on the list.
To send you a few emails before the list closes about the session and the problems it deals with. Same basis. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To deliver your session if you book one. The legal basis is our contract.
To send you my weekly email, only if you ticked the box. The legal basis is your consent, and you can unsubscribe any time.
To keep records I'm required to keep for tax and accounts. The legal basis is legal obligation.
I read every form myself. Nothing is decided about you by a computer.
Who else handles it
I use a small number of services to run the business. They only use your details to provide their service to me:
GoHighLevel: website, forms, email and text messages
Google Workspace: email
Zoom: the session itself
Stripe: taking payment
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where your details go outside the UK, they're protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as approved contract terms.
I don't sell your details, and I don't share them with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long I keep it
Waiting list, not booked: 12 months after the list closes, so I can tell you about the next round. Then I delete it.
Clients: 6 years after our last work together, because of tax and accounting rules.
Weekly email: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site only uses the cookies it needs to work, for example to make the form submit properly. There's no advertising or tracking. Because they're essential, they don't need your consent, but you can block them in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work if you do.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
show you what I hold about you
correct anything that's wrong
delete it
stop using it for a particular purpose
give you a copy to take elsewhere
Email [email protected]. I'll reply within a month, and it won't cost you anything.
If you're not happy with how I've handled your details, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
